You do not need a perfect schedule; you need one you can repeat. This eight-week Civil Service Exam study plan works around a job or school. Aim for five focused sessions a week, then adjust the time to your availability. If you have four weeks, combine neighboring weeks without skipping the diagnostic or mixed practice.
Weeks 1–2: Find your baseline
Read the official coverage summary and choose Professional or Subprofessional. Take a short untimed quiz in verbal and numerical ability. Record errors by skill—not just your score. Spend the next sessions rebuilding fundamentals: vocabulary, reading, arithmetic and word problems.
Weeks 3–4: Add your level-specific subject
Professional candidates should practice analytical ability: analogy, logic, assumptions and data interpretation. Subprofessional candidates should practice clerical ability: filing and spelling. Both groups should start general information, especially the Constitution, public-service ethics, human rights and the environment.
Weeks 5–6: Mix and time your work
Alternate subject-specific quizzes with our mixed CSE practice test. For each incorrect answer, write what fooled you, the correct method and one similar example you can solve unaided. Raise speed only when accuracy is stable. Revisit the subject with the highest error rate twice in the following week.
Week 7: Rehearse exam decisions
Take two timed mixed sessions on different days. Practice moving on from a stubborn question and returning later. Review your notes between sessions rather than immediately repeating the same quiz. Our practice questions are independent educational material, not official CSC items or a full-length replica of the examination.
Week 8: Consolidate, then rest
Review your error log and essential formulas; avoid starting an entirely new book. Confirm your school assignment and exam-day checklist, prepare your accepted ID, and protect your sleep. If you have not filed yet, check the schedule and application steps.
